Inter Milan faces AC Milan in Riyadh in the final of the Italian Super Cup. The two Milanese giants progressed to the final after eliminating Atalanta and Juventus. Inter had a tough challenge against the current Serie A leaders Atalanta, but managed to execute their game plan for a 2-0 win. Surprisingly, both goals for Inter were scored by the Dutch right-back Denzel Dumfries.

It’s not expected Simone Inzaghi to make big changes for the upcoming final against the Rossoneri. Most likely he will put the same line-up on the pitch. Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram will lead the attack while Calhanoglu, Barella and Mkhitaryan will play in midfield. Denzel Dumfries and Federico Dimarco will be positioned on the wings. It’s a working formula for the Nerazzurri.

AC Milan also had a challenging game during the 1/2-finals. The new manager Sergio Conceicao debuted in the best way possible – eliminating Juventus and reaching the final. Milan faced Juve and secured a 2-1 win, although they were one goal behind. Once again it was the American international Christian Pulisic who became the hero for Milan – he scored the team’s both goals against the Bianconeri.

Conceicao used a 4-3-3 formation in his first match for Milan. To be honest, despite conceding in the first half, Milan showed good football with their new manager. Now their goal is to win the trophy in Riyadh.

Christian Pulisic is the influential player in Milan’s team. The American forward is playing very well since his move to Italy. He was clutch against Juventus, and let’s see if he can do it again versus Inter.
